santha jayalath

The artist on his work:

In his eternal quest for a meaningful existence, man tries to overcome obstacles and defy negative forces. In this long struggle and fight for life he has to cross many bridges to achieve his many objectives. He will also experience many mental conflicts.

His personal capacity to endure will be stretched to their limits in this battle for survival. I have tried to depict, through my paintings, the belief that man’s psychological insight should act as a compelling force for him to emerge a winner.

nudi

For more than 25 years, the nude series by Paolo Roversi called »Nudi« is one of the most inspiring and aesthetic nude series in contemporary photography. A plain composition and a gentle use of light make the presented women appear like gracile painted nude studies. So, the viewer’s attention is directed to the shape and the pettiness of the female body. Next to photographs of Kate Moss, Tatjana Patitz and Guinevere van Seenus, the exhibition also includes nudes of models like Laetitia Casta, as well as lately produced male »Nudi«-photographs for the first time.

Exhibition from November 26, 2011 until January 28, 2012

banishment

You can see that the Office-Pod was born out of frustration... If you want to work from home and still want to create a working space outside your private area then this cube, so they say, might be ideal. Taking a leak might be a problem, especially in bad weather...or did I miss the bowl? This thing should be remodeled and used as a toilet!
